Dr Sandra Porter
SP Care Consulting provides one on one psychological treatment for the care of you, your family, team or business. We offer a range of therapies and assessments depending on your individual needs. This includes therapy for individual adults, adolescents, couples and families, individuals who have been impacted by road trauma (TAC), individuals who have experienced trauma in the workplace (WorkSafe) and victims of violent crime (VOCAT).

Sandra is a Psychologist and Psychology Board-approved supervisor who is passionate about helping individuals maintain their mental health and well-being. Whilst specialising in trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Sandra also assists clients with grief, anxiety, depression and stress as well as relational and interpersonal challenges. Sandra works collaboratively with clients to identify and explore their own goals in therapy.
Sandra has worked extensively in the community health sector, has experiences working in the private hospital sector in a specialist trauma service and is also an experienced facilitator of groups. Sandra has led and completed studies with emergency service organisations in Victoria, regarding the health and well-being of workers and the impact their work has on their lives. She is passionate about helping the helpers within our community.
Sandra is an experienced group facilitator. She has worked with a road trauma organisation, facilitating groups regarding the impact of road trauma and education. As well as developed and facilitated group work for related victims of violent crime.
Using evidence-based approaches, Sandra will assist you to meet your goals. Sandra feels strongly about providing culturally appropriate care to all people from diverse backgrounds.
